The Flex team has been sharing nightly builds of Gumbo (Flex 4 project code name). The Gumbo home page was recently updated with a number of resources. Just in time, Mike Chambers has taken pains to put together various resources that are currently available for us.
Design in Mind, Developer Productivity, and Framework Evolution are its major goals also being perceived as its themes. As you move on, you might appreciate some examples. Thankfully, there are already a couple of guys, Sherif Abdou and Greg J, who have been posting examples of Flex 4.
Don’t forget that Thermo is a big product associated with Flex 4. It is a product being designed to help RIA designers create their UIs easily. Read a few facts and videos about Thermo here.
